Dead by Daylight Cross

It's been more than four years since Dead by Daylight has been launched and has dug from fans since. During the fourth anniversary component, the Behavior Interactive developer presented his plans to make Dead by Daylight a more unified experience. This problem will be solved by implementing features that link the gameplay and progression between each platform. The crossed game, crossed friends and cross progression are the objectives that Behavior Interactive has set for the different platforms on which Dead by Daylight is supported. They recently informed their fans of what it would look like to succeed on these fronts and obstacles they might encounter.

The crossed game is a float concept and has even been realized for many years now, but all games have not been able to implement it. Cross-Friends is an extension of the cross-play where players can add other players to their friends list playing on other platforms. So, an Xbox One player could play with, add and invite a player to Nintendo Switch or PC. Cross progress is intended for players who often make trips between platforms. Instead of having to manage two or more accounts, depending on the number of platforms you use, cross progress will share and update a Dead by Daylight backup with all your platforms.

These features are very similar to Xbox's Play Anywhere games. However, Behavior Interactive is the one who makes every effort and for his only game, and it's quite inspiring to see them do. Unfortunately, there may be exceptions to their final goal. The mobile version of Dead by Daylight will probably not benefit from these features because this version is simply too different. The behavior also says that It may be necessary to make exceptions to meet certain external licensing needs, so if you expect it impatiently, keep that in mind. Dead by Daylight is now available and available for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, and will be released for Stadia in September.
